At Artists Making Progress (AMP), being a Featured Artist is an honor extended to those with whom we have built a meaningful relationship—artists whose work embodies resilience, dedication, and artistic excellence. This is not an open application process but a selective partnership shaped by time, trust, and a shared commitment to making an impact through music.
Each year, AMP sponsors one artist, providing financial and strategic support to bring their creative vision to life. The selection is highly curated, ensuring that our resources uplift projects that align with our mission and values. While specific requirements are still being developed, one thing is certain—this opportunity is reserved for artists we truly believe in.
At AMP, we champion those whose voices deserve to be heard, whose stories need to be told, and whose artistry can inspire change.
“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”
—Emma Lazarus, The New Colossus

Angie Haze isn’t just a singer-songwriter; she’s a sonic architect, a storyteller who bends time and genre with her evocative sound. An award-winning, queer-fronted act, Haze crafts music for the survivor—giving voice to those who have endured childhood sexual abuse and sexual violence. Her songs are anthems of resilience, a call to the unheard, and a force for change—championing equality, Mother Earth, and the Animal Kingdom.
A multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, Haze has created a genre of her own: Creepop—a mesmerizing fusion of haunting vocal harmonies, infectious melodies, and eerie yet whimsical textures. Imagine the surreal magic of a Tim Burton film colliding with the eccentric charm of Willy Wonka, and you’ll begin to grasp the atmosphere she conjures. Her music isn’t just something to listen to—it’s something to see, feel, and experience.

Time Thief
Nerd Inspiration
Angie was deeply inspired by the success of her EMDR therapy which incorporated bilateral movement of sound. She went on to include aspects of this in the production of “Time Thief”. If you listen with headphones you can hear the subtle binaural beats that coincide with the purposeful sound design and lyrics.
Album Description
“Time Thief” can best be described as the feeling of excitement for nostalgia and then wave of melancholy that often comes from looking into the past. While this collection pokes and prods on some delicate stories, the listener is left with a sense of uprising for change. With influences like Radiohead, Cosmo Sheldrake & Billie Eilish, this album sounds like a Tim Burton, Annie Lennox tea party. In the words of Willy Wonka… “There’s no earthly way of knowing. Which direction they are going.”Only time will tell.
